We're excited to announce that the New Activity Streams are now live. All users can take advantage of the new Streams to quickly and easily see what's going on in any client, sale, project, ticket or retainer in their account.
Let's take a step back to remember the previous Activity Stream. While seeing a Facebook-like feed of the emails, calls, notes and meetings against a client (or other work) was great, they were also a bit hard to digest and interact with - too much text, too hard to read conversations and too hard to reply or comment on. Additionally, as the content in the stream grew, things naturally slowed down and it was hard to search for what you were looking for.
Out with the old and in with the new! The new Streams have the ability for users to reply or comment within the Stream, improved speeds on the back end for large amounts of growing data, its easier to read and review updates and statuses, and improved search helps users find what they are looking for.
