Over the last couple of months, the Accelo team has been working hard to make some major changes to the iOS app. While many of these are under the hood, they've set us up to now embark on a fairly rapid development and release cycle to move our iOS app from being a lightweight companion to view client details and a calendar of tasks, and turn it into a much more robust, fully-featured mirror to Accelo, but in mobile form.
Because of the way Apple approaches releases through the app store - with compulsory approval cycles - and the fact that some of our users probably don't want their iOS app to evolve as frequently as we're able to do releases, we've elected to focus our energy over the next month or two on a new beta program. When we've made enough progress, we'll go through Apple's approval process and upgrade the non-beta app all at once.
The good news is that we now have an allowance for 1,000 beta users. People who registered for our beta program earlier in the year will already be included, but we're excited to be able to bring in many more beta users (especially new Accelo users or people who missed out on our first iOS beta release back in April) to join with us over the next couple of months as we release a lot of new features on a higher velocity than we've ever been able to support before.
To sign up, simply complete the form below. You'll also need to be running iOS 8 on your iPhone; Apple won't let us bring in beta users on any previous versions of iOS, unfortunately!
Within a few days of signing up you'll get an automatic notification from TestFlight, and we'll be in touch with new beta releases as they become available. Of course, being a beta, we'd also love your feedback as you're testing the new version - simply email [email protected] and we'll get back to you as we can.
