What’s New

Accelo now empowers you to invoice like a global pro with Multi-Currency. Whether you're working with international clients or managing multiple currencies across regions, this powerful update gives you the flexibility to configure and select transaction currencies with ease. Here’s what’s new:

• Users can create invoices in different currencies based on client needs.
• Deployments integrated with Xero or QuickBooks will automatically sync available currencies from their accounting system.
• Invoice PDFs will display the total amount (including tax) in the selected currency.
• Users can customize invoices to include both the transaction currency total and the base currency equivalent for better transparency.

What’s Staying the Same

While Multi-Currency brings a new level of flexibility to invoicing, some key foundations remain unchanged to ensure stability and consistency across your financial data. Here’s what won’t be affected:

• Limited to Invoices – Sales, Projects, Retainers, and Tickets will continue to use the base currency.
• Reports in Base Currency – Financial reports will still display data in the deployment's base currency.
• Invoice-Specific Currency Selection – Multi-currency data is viewable only within individual invoices.

How to Configure Multi-Currency

Setting up Multi-Currency is quick and ensures your invoicing stays accurate across currencies.

Key Steps:

1. Enable Multi-Currency – Admin users can turn this on in Currency Selection settings.
2. Confirm Base Currency – Select and confirm the Base Currency for financial reporting.
3. Sync or Add Currencies – If you're using Xero or QuickBooks, currencies will sync automatically. Otherwise, you can manually select currencies.
4. Adjust Exchange Rates – Accelo will pull exchange rates, but you can override them if needed.

How to Issue Invoices in Different Currencies

1. Select Invoice Currency – A new "Invoice Currency" field lets you choose from your configured currencies.
2. Exchange Rate Handling – Accelo pulls the latest exchange rates, but you can manually override them if needed.
3. Review Invoice Totals – Totals will be displayed in both the transaction currency and base currency for clarity.
4. Send or Save as Draft – Finalize your invoice and issue it as usual, with full currency support.
5. Customize Invoice PDFs – Adjust your PDF settings to display both currency values for added transparency.
